Harrah's Louisiana Downs, whose doors opened in May 2004, is a 150,000 square feet permanent casino facility that features more than 1,400 slot machines. The casino facility is connected to the existing racetrack by an entryway featuring a number of restaurants and a bar and lounge. The restaurants include a steakhouse, buffet and deli. The Harrah's Louisiana Downs investment/expansion project represents a $110 Million investment.
Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World
The experience at Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City has commenced with the opening of America's most popular outdoor store. In May, 2002, the owner of Bass Pro Shops announced that the newest location of Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World would be in Bossier City. The 106,000 square foot mega-store opened in November 2003. It is a sportsman's shopping paradise offering the most comprehensive selection of outdoor gear in Louisiana. The store features a two-story design and incorporates many regional elements.
Louisiana Boardwalk
